Children's book

Imagine being able to hold my self-illustrated children's book in my hand, cheeky! The text is written by Lovisa Bengtsdotter from Träslövsläge in Varberg and the story is about a boy who is looking for his grandfather in the harbor in Läjet, as it is popularly called. The location has a unique dialect and like all dialects it needs to be spoken in order to be preserved. The book is therefore written in both dialect and Swedish, just turn it over. In order for the illustrations to feel authentic for the place, I visited the harbor and documented the environment. I did not know Lovisa before but we met during a fair in Varberg when we both exhibited our crafts and now we have created a children's book together. Feeling both proud and already curious about the next story.
